Favorites of the Month: September

It was the last month of Summer =( but now its Fall! Majority of my favorites for the month of September are actually more appropriate for Fall, but I guess I jumped the gun and started using my favorite Fall products early =) Since I went to Disneyland last month, I also have a couple of Disney stuff that have been my favorites!

Face Products
  • Urban Decay Baked Bronzer 'Baked'
  • Nars Blush 'Dolce Vita'
  • Diorskin Nude Concealer 02 Beige

Top to Bottom: Nars Dolce Vita Blended Out, Dolce Vita Swatch, Baked Bronzer Blended Out, Baked Bronzer Swatch

These 3 products I wore maybe 70% of the time last month. The baked bronzer I looove because it adds a really nice glow! You can even see the highlight effect from the photo! I also have 'Gilded' which is even more shimmery! The Nars Dolce Vita blush I got a while ago because I loved the Dolce Vita lipstick so much, I thought I had to get the blush too right?! Looks dark when swatched but it actually gives a nice deep rosy color, its great for any skintone really. And finally my concealer that I have pulled outta the cobwebs because I needed something to hide all my blemishes! blah!

Lip Products
  • Nars Sheer Lipstick 'Dolce Vita'
  • Korres Lip Butter 'Wild Rose'

L to R: Dolce Vita and Wild Rose
These two products actually look almost exactly the same in the photo, but when worn, they look completely different! Dolce Vita of course is a Nars best seller and I think its a great lipcolor to wear for Fall! The Korres Lip Butter in Wild Rose is a reddish tinted lip balm which is also great for the Fall season!

Skincare
  • Bath and Body Works Body Scrub 'Into the Wild'
  • Neutrogena Oil-Free Moisturizer SPF 15

I normally dont have a favorite skincare just because I breakout so easily and it seems like no product in the entire universe can help me! But I did find a great moisturizer that hasnt made me breakout... yet. It also has SPF 15! And, if you havent smelled the Bath and Body Works 'Into the Wild' scent yet.. I highly recommend this if you like tropical and fruity body scrubs and washes. It smells soooo fantastic! And it scrubs away your dead skin =)

Disney!
  • Minnie Mouse Insulated Cup
  • Mickey Mouse Mug

I thought I would bring a piece of Disneyland back home with me =)

I use the Minnie Mouse cup to take to work everyday for Lunch and the Mickey Mouse mug I also use everyday for Breakfast and Dinner! The Mickey Mouse mug also says 'Oh Boy!' oh the other side =))

Got any favorites from September you would like to share?

Favorite Fall Lip Balm: Korres Lip Butter 'Wild Rose'

Ive had this lip balm for about a year and half now, its the Korres Lip Butter in 'Wild Rose' and I used it a lot at first and then I kind of forgot about it. But, since I was experimenting with Fall lip colors recently, I rediscovered this little gem that works perfectly for the Fall season! Especially if you're a little hesitant when it comes to darker lip colors or even reds, this is the product to try.

Description
It works well just on its own, because it gives your lips a flushed plummy red color which is not bold at all, more like a tint. It looks really dark in the jar, but it goes on very lightly and sheer. It moisturizes amazingly well with Shea Butter and Rice Wax. Plus, Korres is an "all natural" brand, so you know its good for your lips! The texture feels literally like butter and it goes on so smoothly. It also has a shiny finish so its almost like a lip balm and gloss in one!

Review
These lipbalms are so worth it. They condition your lips very well and they arent greasy or feel cakey. They are great to use on their own, but they could also be paired with a gloss if you want that added "oomph!". However, I would not recommend using these under a lipstick. The texture is sooo creamy that it creates too much movement if you put a lipstick over it. Your lipstick will just slip all over the place and it will be a big mess! Awesome to wear for the Fall Season or if you want a little extra tint to your lips =)

Nail Polish Obsessed: Essie

I dont know why Ive been so nail polish obsessed recently!! I hardly ever do my nails because all my previous jobs had a "no nail polish rule" so I got used to having my nails bare. But recently I just started getting back into painting them, and I am currently obsessed with Essie Nail Polish!! I love the bottle it comes in, I think its a lot cuter than other nail polish bottles and they have really unique colors!

I went to CVS and Target this past week because I wanted to get a few of the Fall Collection Nail Polishes from Essie. I got 3 out of 4 that I wanted which were Carry On, Very Structured, and Case Study. I was sad that Power Clutch was sold out at both locations, but oh wells, I can always find a dupe for it right?! I also picked up some other colors that caught my eye and the Beauty Secrets Base Coat and Top Coat from Sally's Beauty Supply when I was in San Diego!

Here are the colors I snagged!

L to R: Carry On, Very Structured, and Case Study

L to R: Carry On, Very Structured and Case Study

L to R: Carry On, Very Structured, and Case Study

Carry On - deep burgundy
Very Structured - rusty burnt sienna
Case Study - soft camel beige

Thoughts
These polishes are very opaque, so one coat on your nail and you really get the basic jist of the color. I always do two coats though just to make sure, I feel like they dont chip as fast if you layer the nail polish. They come out really shiny too, I think they are all a cream texture.. (is that a term for nail polish?) they dont have any sparkles in them either, which I kind of like with nail polish. Keep it classic and simple I guess. I currently have on Carry On which is sooo perfect for the Fall Season! Im actually horrible at painting nails so I didnt post a photo of it, but as I get better, Ill include photos =)

Chinchilly and Turquoise & Caicos were impulsive purchases! But look how pretty they are! How could I not get them! I also thought Chinchilly would be a nice Fall color =)

L to R: Chinchilly and Turquoise & Caicos

L to R: Chinchilly and Turquoise & Caicos

L to R: Chinchilly and Turquoise & Caicos

Chinchilly - granite gray
Turquoise & Caicos - tropical aqua

Thoughts
I had to had to had to get Turquoise & Caicos it was just screaming my name when I went to Target! I basically love anything thats aqua, turquoise, sea foam, mint green, or just anything in that color hue, so this one was right up my alley! Its more of a Summer/Spring color, but I thought I should get it now because these Essie Nail Polishes sell out soooo fast where Im from, its riDONKulous! Chinchilly I bought partly for the name =) Its so fun to say, "Chinchilly!" Ok I might have had too much caffeine today.. just putting it out there!

And these are the Base and Top Coats I had to pick up from Sally's Beauty Supply in San Diego, since we dont have a Sally's in Hawaii, I figured I might as well get it now while I can! These are from Beauty Secrets and the bottles are GARGANTUAN! (is that how you spell it?! Gar-gan-chu-an?! idk! you get what Im trying to say, they're HUGE! last me a lifetime!)

The Essie Polishes were $7.79 each at Target and I believe $7.99 at CVS. I totally forgot how much the Beauty Secrets Base Coat and Top Coat were, but I think they were around $6-$7... Wow! I spent close to $60 on nail stuff! WTH! Yes, being a girl can be very expensive my friends...

Until next time... TaTa!

Favorites of the Month: June

I know I know.. I missed last months favorites, but Im back again for another favorites of the month! Check it out!!

MAC Surf Baby! Powerpoint Eye Pencil 'Blue Noon' $15.50
I wrote a whole seperate post on this eye pencil a few days ago, because it really is my latest beauty product obsession! I love the color, a teal blue, and it lasts all day! Ive been wearing this eye pencil still almost every single day on my lower waterline! I feel it just adds that little spark of color to brighten my eyes up a bit since Im always sleep deprived =(

MAC Surf Baby! Lipglass 'Good Lovin' $15.50
I thought that I would like 'Strange Potion' more than this one, but lately, since Ive been sporting the 'Blue Noon' eye pencil, I figure I would be more subtle with the lips. It has a nice  frosty pink color which looks fine on its own, not too frosty, and really makes a lipstick look sparkly and shiny! I have very pigmented lips anyways, so this gloss tones it down a bit to look more nude, but slightly frosty =)

MAC Surf! Baby Lipstick 'Mocha' $15.50
I bought this lipstick initially just to add to my makeup kit for my jobs, because I thought the color would be a little too dark for me. Miraculously, I tried it one day on myself, and its only about a shade or two darker than my natural lipcolor, so it gives me just the right amount of color without it being too bold! It actually has more of a peachy coral tint to it added to the brown =) Its a satin finish but it is pretty matte when you wear it. Goes on super smooth! I thought it was a cremesheen! Lasts very long too! I ate pizza, drank two cups of water and a Dr. Pepper, and it was still on! Ya my diet aint the best..haha

Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush 'Dollface' $25
I also reviewed this product with the other Tarte products I bought, so Ill just do a little recap! I like 'Dollface' slightly more than 'Tipsy' just because its a little more sutle. I love the baby pink color on me because I have fair skin, so it compliments really well! It reminds me of Japan and Harajuku for some reason... =) hence the name 'Dollface'. Its a matte finish and lasts an entire work day!

Laura Geller Baked Blush N Brighten 'Apricot Berry' $29.50
I got this product in my latest Birchbox, and it was full sized!!! I was soooo excited to try it because I looove bronzers, and it was perfect timing for summer =) Its a bronzer, blush, and highlighter all in one! Its not super super shimmery, it just gives you the right amount of glow! The first time I wore it, my friend who is my roomate asked me if I went to the beach! Which is exactly what I want people to think! lol The apricot tones in it add a little bit of color that adds a bit of life to your face!

TIGI Love Peace Planet Totally Beachin Body and Waves Styling Mist
This mist is the best smelling hair product I have ever tried before! Its Coconut, Mango and Vanilla, and one whiff of this and your automatically back at the beach with sand in between your toes! Not only does it smell fantastic, but its sort of like a sea spray. You spritz it on either dry or damp hair, scrunch and you have beachy waves! It adds texture and seperation for the perfect beachy look for summer =)

Korean Cream
Ok, this was a wildcard for me, because I have nooooo idea what the heck this stuff is! My dads girlfriend gave this to me when she came back from Korea, because she noticed I had started to breakout really badly... After using this twice a day for only a week, I noticed a dramatic change! I had these small little bumps all over my forehead that I couldnt get rid of, and this did the trick! Sorry, I dont know what this product is called or if its even made for your face, but it works wonders if you have acne. Doesnt dry your skin out either!

Beauty Product Obsession: Surf Baby! Powerpoint Eye Pencil 'Blue Noon'

Ever since I bought the LE Powerpoint Eye Pencil in 'Blue Noon' from the MAC Surf Baby! Collection, I have worn it practically everyday! I am in loooove with this color!! Its a bright teal sea blue color that can really compliment any eye color! I have naturally brown eyes and it just brightens me up with a little hint of color without wearing any eyeshadow. I have green contacts too which I wear and with this eye liner it makes the green in the contacts look more prominent, like I have a twinkle in my eye or something..

I am really starting to like the MAC Powerpoint Eye Pencils because they have a creamy texture which isnt harsh on your waterline, plus its waterproof, so it doesnt move at all! I thought I would swear by the UD 24/7 liners, but these powerpoint ones are definetly living up to their claims.

Sorry this post isnt too informational, but I just had to share my newest obsession! lol I tried taking a photo of a swatch, but it didnt really come out true to color.. It definetly looks a lot better when you see it worn in person =p I promise I am getting a real camera soon!! Going on a trip in September so I need a camera ASAP =)

My attempt at a swatch
Did you get this eyeliner from this summer collection? Whats your current beauty product obsession?

Favorites of the Month: April

Wow! What a month April was!! I was jam packed with work and I think I experimented with new products more than any other month in my entire life! lol Alright so, I had a list of about 15 favorites and had to narrow it down, so I picked 9 that were my top favorites for this month! Here goes!

Left to Right: MAC Lipstick 'Candy Yum Yum', mark. Lipclick 'Bare Hug', mark. Glowdacious 'Amped Up', Anastasia Brow Duo 'Brunette', Too Faced Shadow Insurance, MAC Plushglass 'Bubble Tea', Jack Black Lip Therapy 'Lemon and Chamomile', UD 24/7 Eyeliner 'Zero', MAC Powerpoint Eye Pencil 'So There Jade'
 MAC Lipstick 'Candy Yum-Yum' $14.50
Do I need to say why this made my favorites list? Just look at that color!!! Its bright bright fuschia pink, glides on well, super creamy, and lasts long. What more can a girl ask for in a lipstick! Perfect color for spring or summer! It came with the 'Quite Cute' Collection, so I think most places are sold out =( But if you can find one, definetly pick one up if you like bold bright colors!

mark. Lipclick 'Bare Hug' $10
This is now my favorite nude lipstick which I wear almost everyday for work. Its full coverage so its very pigmented and it has a glossy finish which is really nice, you dont even need lipgloss for this baby! I have light skin with yellow/olive undertones which matches me perfectly!

mark. Glowdacious Illuminating Powder 'Amped Up' $12
Nars 'Laguna' is still one of my favorites, but this mark. Bronzer booted 'Laguna' out of the number one spot! Its not too shimmery and it has a peachy glow to it thats sutle enough and not too overbearing. Because of this peachy undertone, its been great for spring! Its also pigmented enough so you can use it as a contour color =)

Anastasia Brow Powder Duo 'Brunette' $22
As you might have read in my review, I have been looking for a brow color for some time now that didnt give me that ruddy tone. This brow duo was 'the one'! I absolutely love love love it because it matches my dark brown hair and it goes on very lightly enough where I dont get splotches of color. I think the lighter shade is even good enough to use for blonde hair as well, so this product is very diverse and can be use to create different hues for your brows depending on what look you are going for!

Too Faced Shadow Insurance $18
I was a dedicated UD Primer Potion user for YEARS, and refused to try anything else until I discovered this product! In my opinion, its the best eye primer out there right now. It amplifies color, glides on smoothly, keeps shadow from creasing, and lasts for days! Even though it adheres to color, its still easy to blend! I also like that it comes in a squeeze tube instead of having a wand. I like keeping my products sanitary so this tube worked a lot better for me.

MAC Plushglass 'Bubble Tea' $18.50
This was also part of the MAC 'Quite Cute' Collection, and the color is similar to the Cremesheen glass in 'Boy Bait'. Its a nice pinky nude lipgloss that looks fantastic by itself or over a nude lipstick. I also like the tingly feeling it gives your lips, and its not too sticky. It lasts very long throughout the day, I had about 5-6 hours of wear with this even when I was drinking coffee in between =)

Jack Black Intensive Lip Therapy 'Lemon and Chamomile' $7.50
I heard so many beauty bloggers raving about this lip balm and now I know why! Its perfect for wearing under lipstick because it doesnt give it too much slip. It has a thick gel like consistency which moisturizes your lips completely, and keeps them moist throughout the entire day! The smell of the 'Lemon and Chamomile' is so lovely =)

Urban Decay 24/7 Eyeliner Pencil in 'Zero' $18
I actually bought the anniversary set for these eyeliners which came with 15 pencils I believe, for $92, but I chose the color 'Zero' which is just a regular black color because I use it almost everyday. Its super duper creamy, which is rare to find with waterproof liners, and it actually stays on without smudging or smearing! Perfect for those who have oily lids or your eyes tend to water like mines because of my contacts. Amazing amazing liners, if you havent tried these yet, I would highly recommend them!

MAC Powerpoint Eye Pencil 'So There Jade' $14.50
Of course, my favorite color in the entire world is 'Mint Green' and I absolutely love the color of this pencil, its so UNIQUE! Its a turquoise jade green color that is so vibrant, you could still probably see it in a dark nightclub or something! lol I use it on my bottom lash line sometimes when I just feel like a need a pop of color. It does last long too because it is a waterproof formula, and it glides on well. I would suggest doing a few swipes though because its not as creamy as the UD ones.

Got any favorites from April? Any of the same favorites that I had?

Sephora Chic Week for V.I.B.'s 15%

Hey Everyone!

Just wanted to share with you all what I got from Sephora yesterday!! I was soooo excited to shop, I waited all day in anticipation and I actually didnt spend as much as I thought I would and I think I only got 3 of the things that were originally on my list =) Here it is!

(from left to right)
Jack Black Lip Therapy SPF 25 in Lemon and Chamomile $7.50
Anastasia Brow Powder Duo in Brunette $22
Too Faced Shadow Insurance $18
Boscia Luminizing Black Mask $34
Sephora Brush Cleansing Wipes $9
Sephora Tote Bag (in the back)

A Review in Short

Love how the Jack Black Lip Therapy in Lemon and Chamomile smells! I like that it has SPF in it and it doesnt feel greasy at all, it looks more like a gel. I wore it under my e.l.f mineral lipstick and it kept my lips moist throughout the night!

The Anastasia Brow Powder Duo I think is awesome! I tried it last night because I was so excited and its the perfect color for me, I have dark brown hair, so I use the darker color to fill in my arch and outer ends and then go in with the lighter shade to fill in the inner brow.

The Too Faced Shadow Insurance I got on a whim because I really love Urban Decays Primer Potion but I wanted to try something different. I used the Shadow Insurance with loose pigment and it made my shadow go on a lot smoother, brightened the colors and didnt crease!

Ive already tried the Boscia mask and I really really like it!! It really does make your face look more luminous and feeling really fresh and clean. But, there is a but, it does sting a bit when you peel it off, almost like a band-aid, so for some people it could be painful.

Havent tried the Sephora Brush Cleansing Wipes yet, but I will let you know how they are. For $9 I figure.. what the heck, why not try it. *Updated* Ok, so I just tried these out and they suck! They dont clean my brushes, at all, and they dry out so fast its almost pointless.. oh wells.. you win some, you lose some..

Soooo... I am very very happy with what I decided to purchase (besides the Sephora Brush Cleansing Wipes) and Im so glad I didnt go over board! I had to really stop myself, trust me! lol

Do you have any great beauty buys recently? I would love to hear about them!

Top 3: Spring Fragrances 2011

When you think of Spring, you automatically think... EASTER! Yes, I love coloring eggs, eating peeps and chocolate bunnies too, but aside from Easter, when I think of Spring, I think of flowers, fresh air and freshly cut grass, Spring appeals to your senses! So, what better way to start this Easter Spring week with my top Spring Fragrances of the season!

Chloe 'Rosebud' (Limited Edition Bottle)
Chloe fragrances have been so popular throughout the years because of its chic, classy and ultra feminine scent. Just recently they launched this brand new fragrance called 'Chloe Rosebud' which is, sadly to say, a limited edition, but I couldnt resist talking about it. The bottle is the same as the original Chloe but with a rose colored ribbon! So pretty! You can really smell the rose scent in this fragrance and its mixed with lily of the valley, pink peony, honey and freesia for a nice fresh and floral smell. Very sexy and sophisticated!

Price:
1.7oz $85
*expensive, yes I know, but its an Eau de Parfum which is more concentrated, one spritz is enough to last all day

Marc Jacobs 'Daisy Eau So Fresh'
Marc Jacobs 'Daisy' has been a best seller, and still is, ever since its launch in 2007, I mean, nothing would look cuter on your dresser than a 'Daisy' bottle right? Their new fragrance 'Daisy Eau So Fresh' is more fruity than the original 'Daisy' but still has a bit of a passive floral scent to it and it is very light as well as very youthful and playful. The concoction contains hints of wild rose, pear, apple blossom, lychee and even green leaves. Just the smell of this fragrance will leave you with happy thoughts!

Price:
4.25oz $85
2.5oz $70

Chanel 'Chance Eau Tendre'
Usually when you think about Chanel fragrances, you automatically think, very bold and powerful scents. However, their new fragrance 'Chance Eau Tendre', which is a spin off of the regular 'Chance' is so light and delicate, it has been selling like crazy ever since its launch back in late 2010. There are hints of grapefruit, quince , jasmine, and white musk that are all mixed to create the perfect floral, fruity combination. Its a very flirty kind of scent, so it would be perfect to wear for date night!

Price:
3.4oz $90
1.7oz $65

Quick Tip:
Fragrances travel UP. Try spraying one spritz of your favorite fragrance on the back of each knee. You will find that it will last longer!

Review: Sigma Brush Set 'Make Me Classy'

Price: $99
12 Brushes
Cylinder Case
Free Gift - 1 Travel Sized Blending Brush
www.signmabeauty.com

I was dying to get new brushes and it was a toss up between getting a Sigma brush set or buying a whole bunch of MAC ones.. In the end, I decided to go outside of my box and try the Sigma ones!! and OMG, I love them! I used them for the first time this past Saturday to do a prom makeover and they were so amazing! (Ill try to get a photo).

They come in a cute sleek black case which is perfect for carrying your brushes and to keep the bristles from getting all feathered out and bent. I chose this set particularly for the case because I hate using brush belts... they never fit me and its hard to see all of your brushes when its hanging below you. The portable case comes apart in two little brush cups where you can stand your brushes up. I like to seperate mines with eye and concealer brushes in one and then face brushes in another so its more organized and easier to find what I am looking for. They come in different colors also which are Purple, Coral and Aqua. I chose black because I like my things looking in unison.

I only put my eye and concealer brushes in the canister though because I have a lot more brushes than just the Sigma ones and they wouldnt hold ALL of them. If I had put my face brushes in there, for one, they wouldnt all fit, and two, when I close it, I wouldnt want any of the bristles getting caught and bent.

The set comes with a total of 12 brushes which are a mix of natural and synthetic bristles. Total bargain for what you get!

Eye/Concealer Brushes: (from left to right)
  • Small Angle E65 (synthetic)
  • Tapered Blending E40 (natural)
  • Medium Angle Shading E70 (natural)
  • Concealer F70 (synthetic)
  • Eye Shading E55 (natural)
  • Large Shader E60 (natural)
  • Pencil E30 (natural)
  • Eyeliner E05 (synthetic)
My favorites out of the eye brushes are the pencil, eyeliner and small angle brushes. Great for smudging the upper and lower lashlines and for a precise line for cream and gel liners as well as filling in spars hairs in your brow. The tapered blending is just okay, its a bit larger than I expected, but still works. The medium angle shading is pretty good, its great for contouring the eye. Concealer, havent tried yet. Eye shading and large shader are both good, gets the job done.

Face Brushes: (from left to right)
  • Foundation F60 (synthetic)
  • Large Angled Contour F40 (natural)
  • Duo Fibre F50 (natural and synthetic blend)
  • Large Powder F30 (natural)
I love all the face brushes! The foundation brush does not streak at all and blends perfectly! The contour brush does just that! It contours! The duo fibre brush is my favorite out of the face brushes because its so soft and it picks up just the right amount of product. Large powder brush I found will shed when you first clean them (clean before using), but the bristles are so soft and great for applying a setting powder.

It also came with a free gift which was a travel sized blending brush S25, which I believe is the E25 in travel size. I think its made out of natural bristles also, but dont quote me on that. I was a little weary about this brush but it actually works very good. Its not as soft as the other brushes so it picks up color great.
I think shipping was free for me because I used a coupon code, which saved me tons! As we all know, shipping to Hawaii can be pretty expensive!

Quick Tip:

When buying online, always try to look for special coupons, discounts, or promotions. If they dont have one at the moment, WAIT, because they usually will sometime in the future. If its a limited edition product then of course if you just have to have it, then buy it. Other than that, coupon codes have saved me a whole lot of money.

But beware of certain coupon codes because sometimes they say 'free shipping' but always read the fine print! Sometimes they exclude Hawaii and Alaska, especially for International Orders, usually you almost always have to pay for shipping. One of my favorite sites to check for coupon codes and discounts is: http://www.retailmenot.com/

What are your favorite brushes? Any thoughts on the Sigma Brushes? Or any tips on how to shop online?

Favorite Spring Color: Mint Green

'Jet Screamer' by gaucho chizler from Colourlovers.com

Mint green has got to be one of my favorite colors of all time, and what better time to wear mint green than Springtime!! I love it because it has sort of a vintage feel and its not too vibrant a color that it will take away from anything else your wearing. You can wear it as a nail polish, eye color, on your shoes, bags, jewelry, or even hair accessory. Here are some of my mint green findings!

Illamasqua Cream Pigment 'Bedaub'

Valentines Day Special

Are you and your sweetheart doing anything special this Valentines Day?

Valentines Day is so fun to celebrate and many beauty lines always have special gift sets and products that I think are just wonderful! This is probably going to be more of a reference for the men out there who need last minute gift ideas, but I just thought I would share some cute and fun products I found for this lovely occasion.

  • Baby Bear Shop, 'All The Better to Kiss you With' Lip Balm Set $20

The packaging for Baby Bear products are always so cute!! Its a brand not talked about often but I just thought that this set of lip balms was perfect for Valentines Day! It comes with 3 lip balms, you can either get the Eco Kiss Kit: Lavender Vanilla, Chai Mandarin, and Pepperminty or you can get the Holiday Kiss Kit: Pomegranate, Chai Mandarin and Pepperminty they come singly also for only $6 each and their products are made with all natural and organic ingredients! Available at BabyBearShop.com

  • Philosophy 'Sweet On You' $25

Philosophy always comes out with fun and pretty sets for every occasion and their products smell fantastic! I picked this particular set because it smells like the candy hearts that are so famous and a classic Valentines Day candy. It brought me back to my childhood when I would get the Candy Hearts every year from my parents. It comes with 3 different products, Shampoo & Shower Gel, Body Lotion, and Lip Gloss. Available at Sephora or Philosophy.com

  • Nars 'Tainted Love' Set $59

Nars is probably in the top 5 of my favorite makeup brands because I love all their colors and I love all the names they have for every single product which makes it so fun and easy to remember. This gift set is their newest set and was made just in time for Valentines Day. It's surrounded around one of their newest colors called 'Angelika' which is like a hot pink color. The set comes with The Multiple, Lip Gloss, and Nail Polish in 'Schiap'. The Multiple is just amazing to say the least, its a creamy stick which you can use on your cheeks, lips and even eyes. Available at NarsCosmetics.com

  • Victorias Secret 'Ravishing Love' Gift Set $15

I have always loved Victorias Secret 'Secret Garden' Collection, they have such a wide variety of scents to choose from and they always look so sexy and stylish in my shower and bathroom. The scent for this gift set is called 'Ravishing Love' and its a mix of fruity and floral but not too overpowering its very pleasant, kind of reminded me of 'Sweet Temptation'. Comes with a Body Mist, Body Lotion and Shower Gel. Available at: Victorias Secret Stores or VictoriasSecret.com

  • Lavanila 'I Love Lavanila' Gift Set in Vanilla Grapefruit $49.50

Lavanila has one of the best deodorants out there and its such a unique product they always seem to be sold out when I go to Sephora. This gift set includes the deodorant (full size!) in 'Vanilla Grapefruit' which you would think would smell a bit sour because of the grapefruit but it actually has a really fresh smell added with the vanilla to sweeten the smell a bit. It also comes with a Body Butter and Fragrance. Another all natural and organic brand which is a plus! Available at Sephora or Lavanila.com

  • Pacifica Perfumes 'Chocolate and Roses' Set $50

Wow, this set comes with so many products and its such a great value for what you get. Pacifica Perfume is also an all natural and organic brand and I think I caught on to the 'Go Green' craze! I love the name of this set, 'Chocoalte and Roses' which sounds so romantic, but also fits the scent of the products included. It comes with Pillar Candle 3x6 (huge) in Mexican Cocoa, Pillar Candle 3x3 in Persian Rose, Mexican Cocoa solid perfume, Persian Rose Spray and Persian Rose Soap Bar. Available at PacificaPerfume.com
