Review: Eyeko Graffiti Eyeliner Pen, Fat Balm, and Liptastik

Eyeko means 'Love' in Japanese, but it is also a cosmetics brand from London! Ive seen and heard about their products before, but never actually tried it until about a month ago, and I was sooo happy I was able to try them =) They have great great products that are sooooo affordable, and they are all so cute and fun! Hope you enjoy!

 Graffiti Eyeliner Pen $8

This product was my FAVORITE out of the bunch! It is the most EASIEST liquid liner that I have used EVER! It looks just like a pen, so it can give you the straightest lines and perfect cat eyes! Sometimes with liquid liners, the lines are hard to get even because the liquid will come out in clumps, but this doesnt at all, it stays moist throughout application!

Another great thing, it lasts allllll dayyyyyy looooong and will not flake like other liquid liners! The quality of this product is top notch, and with a price of $8, you really cant go wrong. I would buy this even if it was $20!

Fat Balm Strawberry with SPF 15 $10

If you are shy about bold lips, this is the best product to test the waters with! Its a lip balm, but it has a stronger tint than most lip balms I have tried. The Strawberry one that I got has a slightly red tint to it which is not too bold, but you can still tell that there's color on your lips! The finish of this product is awesome! It has little flecks in it and it makes your lips look slightly glossy! You wouldnt need lipstick or lipgloss with this product, it looks amazing all on its own! I am dying to try the other colors and flavors they have available! Also, it smells great too!

Liptastik in 'Hot Lips' and Lip Lover' $10

These glossy lip pencils are soooo convenient! They are a lipstick, lip pencil and lip gloss all wrapped up to make one fabulous product! The color on these pencils are so intense and soooo gorgeous! Although I love wearing bold lips, my day job doesnt allow me to wear these, but they are so perfect for a night out with the girls or a date night with my husband =) They are easy to apply and so pretty! 'Hot Lips' is a bright fuschia color, and 'Lip Lover' looks more like an orange based red when worn. Both gorgeous colors! Oh, and they last long too considering their glossiness =) I found these are best worn alone without lipbalm because it tends to give too much slip.

Lip Lover
Overall Thoughts

These are definetly products where you dont really need to think to buy. The packaging is cute, the price is right, and their products are just amazing! I think most of their products are made for functionality purposes, where its easy to use and you can use them on the go. Perfect for those of you who have busy lifestyles and are on-the-go a lot.. like ME!

Have you tried any Eyeko products? If you have, what did you think? If you havent, TRY IT! lol

Favorites of the Month: June

I know I know.. I missed last months favorites, but Im back again for another favorites of the month! Check it out!!

MAC Surf Baby! Powerpoint Eye Pencil 'Blue Noon' $15.50
I wrote a whole seperate post on this eye pencil a few days ago, because it really is my latest beauty product obsession! I love the color, a teal blue, and it lasts all day! Ive been wearing this eye pencil still almost every single day on my lower waterline! I feel it just adds that little spark of color to brighten my eyes up a bit since Im always sleep deprived =(

MAC Surf Baby! Lipglass 'Good Lovin' $15.50
I thought that I would like 'Strange Potion' more than this one, but lately, since Ive been sporting the 'Blue Noon' eye pencil, I figure I would be more subtle with the lips. It has a nice  frosty pink color which looks fine on its own, not too frosty, and really makes a lipstick look sparkly and shiny! I have very pigmented lips anyways, so this gloss tones it down a bit to look more nude, but slightly frosty =)

MAC Surf! Baby Lipstick 'Mocha' $15.50
I bought this lipstick initially just to add to my makeup kit for my jobs, because I thought the color would be a little too dark for me. Miraculously, I tried it one day on myself, and its only about a shade or two darker than my natural lipcolor, so it gives me just the right amount of color without it being too bold! It actually has more of a peachy coral tint to it added to the brown =) Its a satin finish but it is pretty matte when you wear it. Goes on super smooth! I thought it was a cremesheen! Lasts very long too! I ate pizza, drank two cups of water and a Dr. Pepper, and it was still on! Ya my diet aint the best..haha

Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush 'Dollface' $25
I also reviewed this product with the other Tarte products I bought, so Ill just do a little recap! I like 'Dollface' slightly more than 'Tipsy' just because its a little more sutle. I love the baby pink color on me because I have fair skin, so it compliments really well! It reminds me of Japan and Harajuku for some reason... =) hence the name 'Dollface'. Its a matte finish and lasts an entire work day!

Laura Geller Baked Blush N Brighten 'Apricot Berry' $29.50
I got this product in my latest Birchbox, and it was full sized!!! I was soooo excited to try it because I looove bronzers, and it was perfect timing for summer =) Its a bronzer, blush, and highlighter all in one! Its not super super shimmery, it just gives you the right amount of glow! The first time I wore it, my friend who is my roomate asked me if I went to the beach! Which is exactly what I want people to think! lol The apricot tones in it add a little bit of color that adds a bit of life to your face!

TIGI Love Peace Planet Totally Beachin Body and Waves Styling Mist
This mist is the best smelling hair product I have ever tried before! Its Coconut, Mango and Vanilla, and one whiff of this and your automatically back at the beach with sand in between your toes! Not only does it smell fantastic, but its sort of like a sea spray. You spritz it on either dry or damp hair, scrunch and you have beachy waves! It adds texture and seperation for the perfect beachy look for summer =)

Korean Cream
Ok, this was a wildcard for me, because I have nooooo idea what the heck this stuff is! My dads girlfriend gave this to me when she came back from Korea, because she noticed I had started to breakout really badly... After using this twice a day for only a week, I noticed a dramatic change! I had these small little bumps all over my forehead that I couldnt get rid of, and this did the trick! Sorry, I dont know what this product is called or if its even made for your face, but it works wonders if you have acne. Doesnt dry your skin out either!

What were some of your favorites from June?

Review: Tarte neutralEYES Palette and 12-Hour Amazonian Clay Blush

Hey everyone!

I have been dying to try the Tarte 12-Hour Amazonian Clay Blushes FOREVER and I finally ordered them online! I bought the neutralEYES palette along with it since Ive never tried any of their e/s before, I thought, what the heck, I love palettes, so I might as well give it a go!

Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush 'Dollface' and 'Tipsy' $25 each

Dollface: Light baby pink
Tipsy: Coral pink

I heard so many great things about these blushes, and now I know why! Both colors are so pretty, and they do stay on very very long. I wouldnt really say it stays on for 12-hours straight, but it does stay on for an entire workday (8 hours). It did fade a bit towards the evening time.. The texture is very powdery and goes on a bit sheer, so is easy to build, and its great for layering over a cream blush! Which also makes it last a bit longer =) I use 'Dollface' for work almost everyday! It gives me a natural youthful blushing kind of look, very subtle. 'Tipsy' is a little brighter coral pink color thats perfect for a summer daytime look!

neutralEYES Natural Eyeshadow Palette II $44

Ok, to tell you the truth, I was very disappointed with this palette =( I tried so many different ways to make this palette work, but it just didnt cut it for me... The cool thing though about this palette is that the top row of 5 shadows are all matte, the bottom 5 colors are all shimmer, and it comes in a cute case! However, the colors all came out a little muddy, and just kind of... 'blah!'. The light colors all come out looking the same, even with a primer underneath (I tried 3 different primers). The brown colors came out a little more pigmented, I think just because they are darker colors, but still a bit muddy, and the light shimmery ones are more shimmer than color. Oh.. so sad =( still going to try and make it work though =))

It also came with an emphasEYES aqua-gel eyeliner in 'Brown' which is not bad.. Its very innovative to have a gel liner in a pencil form, but it goes on really wet, which I would not recommend for the waterline (it will get in your eyes). It did stay on for pretty long though.. The Lifted Eye Primer is a bit thick and a little too dry for me, so I still prefer the Too Faced Shadow Insurance, or the UD Primer Potion.

First 4 colors on the left
Other 6 colors on the right (sorry I swatched it a bunch before this photo was taken)

Overall Thoughts:

The Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blushes are awesome! I am definetly buying other colors of this! The neutralEYES palette, didnt work so well for me, but maybe Im just using it the wrong way or not with the right products, dont know, but its still a work in progress for making this palette work =) The aqua-gel liner, worked ok, might try other colors in the future. The Lifted Eye Primer, probably wont buy the full size and just stick to the ones I currently love.

Have you tried any of these products? or any products from Tarte that you love too?
